I am thinking of doing up something similar for my hens, using the lined envelopes and note card for the invite... something different, something cute...
I found the lined envelopes here at amazing paper really cheap... I'm thinking hot pink or light blue..
As far as the notecards/invites go I'll do a mock up and put it up on the weekend!!
